I have tried berkely gulp and also heard rave reviews about the stuff. I have used gulp and frozen on a pickerel rig frozen out did gulp every time. I have used both gulp and crawlers on a rig switching top and bottom with every fish crawlers won again. And used both hooks natural and then both hooks gulp, not much action on the gulp and bites were very light and uninterested. Using gulp to hold my live on is a great idea though as that is the new use for my $7.00 bag of bait holder. Has anyone else been this disappointed? I have written berkely and asked for a refund of my second unused package. The claim says outfishes live, didn't see those results with perch, walleye or trout on rigs or jigs. Could it be that my Gulp was just a bad batch?

I heard good results from people using it on lake dauphin I tried it myself it worked well, I used it on my trip up to northern manitoba and it sucked so im assuming its not for all lakes dont give up on it yet untill youve tried it everywhere.

I guess I'll give it one more try in Saskatchewan as I already have an open pack. If nothing else I guess it could make decent pike bait.
