My familly and I just returned from a trip we spent just 20 mins north of Kenora at Teryall resorts on Lake Catherine. We went up a shallow narrow channel to Pelican Pouch and had some real good Walleye Fishing most of them being on the small side but still alot of fun.
Its too bad it rained the whole weekend we were there but rain or shine we fished away, the next day we went into a small lake tucked into the back country called blueberry lake north of minaki going towards white dog reserve, where we got into some real nice walleye boating quite a few over the 20 inch mark.
The next day we decided to go try for some Lake Trout on Worth lake which none of us had ever fished this lake before.TEXT It took some time but once we graphed the lake and found our structure and humps we got into them the biggest was only 28 inches but what a fight he gave me. We caught some smaller ones mostly on the ledges that came from 90 ft up to 45 ft they were sitting right on the edge. Moral of the story is I had a great time fishing and I look forward to getting out there again next year.

I was camping out at dogtooth lake on the weekend. We also tried for lakers one day, but gave up half way through the day. What seemed to be the lure/bait of choice for you? What time of the day were you catching them?
